Offering a really gorgeous looking STANWELL made "danish sovereign" from Denmark. This is a shape 319, and is a design by Sixten Ivarsson. The shape numbers for the Danish Sovereign pipes use the Stanwell shape numbers, and add a “3” to the start, so this “19” shape is a 319. The design in one from Sixten Ivarsson, #19c from Stanwell: (c) Bent Dublin with triangular side-profile, a round, or rounded-square, rim and saddle stem, by Sixten Ivarsson. The overall condition of the pipe is near mint. The bowl exterior has no real wear, has slight tap marks on the outer top rim. The bowls exterior shows off rich color, with mostly flame grain, it’s gorgeous. Bowl interior is well seasoned, so should smoke well early on, and draw hole at bottom center. The stem is in excellent shape as well, very nicely cut, no tooth wear. It bears the XXX logo on the side. Weight is around 1.49 ounces, 42.3 grams, very attractive pipe. Freshly polished and ready to smoke, draws easy!
