• Lot of 11 metal rings on their original brass holder wand, from the carousel "brass ring game" at Rocky Springs Park, a historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania amusement park
• The brass ring game dates back to the late 19th and early 20th century heyday of American carousels: riders on the outer horses reached for rings from a dispenser stocked mostly with plain steel rings and one or a few valuable brass rings, with a brass ring redeemable for a free ride — the origin of the phrase "grab the brass ring"
• Rings included are mostly brass, with 2 that appear to be steel, in a range of sizes and thicknesses; holder wand is brass
• Largest ring is 3 1/2" wide, smallest is 1 1/2" wide, with most averaging about 2 1/2"; thinnest ring is 1/4" and thickest is about 3/8"
• Good used condition with normal wear expected from decades of amusement park use
• A rare, tangible piece of a fading American carousel tradition
