N.B.
- Marx toys produced their own Playmobil under licence in Swansea, UK, between 1976 and February 1980 when the Dunbee Combex Marx group declared bankruptcy and all production stopped
- Marx initially manufactured nearly all of the parts themselves, which is why a lot of the early parts do not have the playmobil logo on them, but towards the end, and as they got into financial difficulty, they included more and more parts imported from Playmobil


As a collector a lot of research and care is taken to ensure the sets I list are in exceptional condition
Vintage Playmobil is very difficult to get right. Box pictures and instructions are not reliable inventories and they often did not show the exact box contents. Playmobil also sometimes updated the parts

Most Playmobil sets listed as complete are actually missing, or have the wrong parts
