Our team will call you to schedule a convenient date and send a pre-dispatch video so you can see your exact item. The day before arrival, you'll receive a text with your time slot. On delivery day, our 2-man team carries the item to your room of choice, fully assembles it, and removes all packaging.

30-Day Returns: Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return postage costs.

We source clearance stock directly from leading retailers - including photography samples, end-of-line pieces, cancelled orders, customer returns, and ex-display items. Every item is sorted, quality-checked, professionally photographed, and listed on our store.
As our name suggests, the company was founded in 2019 by Joseph and James. At just 18, they launched the business from a dilapidated basement unit in a Stockport mill with just five sofas. Their vision was simple: bring premium branded furniture to customers at a fraction of the high-street price.
That vision resonated. The combination of discounted branded stock and rapid delivery drove rapid growth, and Joseph James became the first furniture outlet to offer a live-stock store where customers could browse and order immediately. Today, we operate from four showrooms across the North West and have helped thousands of customers furnish their homes.
Free 12-Month Warranty
Every product sold by Joseph James Furniture Outlet (JJFO) includes a free 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects and mechanical failures, valid from the date of delivery.
Extended warranty can be purchased when we call to arrange delivery after the order.
Extended Warranty
Customers may purchase an extended warranty for 10% of the order total, extending cover to 3 years from delivery. The extended warranty is available on full-priced items only and must be purchased at the time of sale.

- Structural faults in frame construction and suspension
- Mechanical faults including recliner mechanisms and electrical components
Fault Timelines & Remedies
Within 30 Days of Delivery
If a verified fault develops, JJFO will repair the item or issue a full refund via the original payment method.
31 Days – 6 Months
JJFO will assess the fault. If verified, the item will be repaired or exchanged for one of equal or lesser value.
6 Months – 3 Years (Extended Warranty only)
JJFO will assess and repair the item, or offer an exchange. If a repaired item develops a further fault, one final repair attempt will be made before a refund or replacement is offered.
What's Not Covered
- Accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Mishandling, improper storage, or incorrect installation
- Alterations or repairs carried out by non-JJFO personnel
- General wear and tear (e.g. cushion softening, natural fading)
- Commercial or non-domestic use
Making a Claim
Contact JJFO Customer Services by emailing us through eBay. Proof of purchase and supporting images or video may be required. JJFO reserves the right to inspect the item before proceeding.
Note: Warranty coverage applies only to full-price purchases. Discounted items are sold as seen. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected. This policy applies to all qualifying purchases made on or after 26 April 2025.
We will beat any like-for-like price from another UK furniture outlet. The following terms apply.
Eligibility
- The price beat applies to identical or equivalent items sold by a competing UK furniture outlet operating as a legitimate business seller.
- The competitor must be a registered business seller — private seller prices will not be considered.
- The item must be in stock and available for immediate purchase at the competitor at the time of the claim.
Evidence Required

- Claims without evidence of the total delivered price (item + delivery) cannot be processed.
- Joseph James Furniture reserves the right to verify the claim before applying any price adjustment.
Exclusions
- Prices from auction sites, marketplace listings by private sellers, or liquidation/clearance platforms.
- Prices that include cashback, voucher codes, or promotional discounts not available to the general public.
- Items that are not like-for-like in brand, model, condition, or specification.

Delivery can be as fast or as slow as you like. As everything we sell is in-stock (nothing made to order) you can have delivery in days instead of months. However, if you've found the furniture for you but you aren't ready for delivery quite yet, we can also store it for FREE for up to 3 months.
