The Ghostly Guardian's series takes an abrupt pivot this issue; from the previous standard superheroics (albeit on a cosmic and celestial scale), the Spectre's wilful execution of a criminal condemns him to carry the Book Of Judgement to atone for his sin in taking a life. Spectre is to pass judgment on the people in the Book.

Cue the anthology mystery stories, as for the rest of the series' run (which was, er, one more issue), Spectre is merely a host of the standard, though well-executed, tales of the supernatural found in House of Mystery and elsewhere. This issue's two entries are by Denny O'Neil and Berni Wrightson and Mark Hanerfield and Jack Sparling, respectively. 

Fine condition; unfaded glossy covers, sharp edges, firm staples and clean bright interiors. Very minor age-related handling wear towards spine.
