This item is a Vintage USAF Type CWU-1/P cold weather flying coverall.

These green flight suits were issued to pilots and aircrews during the Vietnam War Era and likely dates to around the 1960s.  These original USAF Military coveralls are an authentic piece from the Vietnam War (1961-75).

• Material:  Made of a blend designed for high-altitude, cold-weather flight, with the thick inner lining consisting of 70% rayon and 30% wool, and an outer shell of nylon and rayon
• Features:  Includes many functional elements, such as multiple pockets, side access zips to inner pant pockets, leg pockets for flight and survival gear, and a hidden, zippered hood in the collar.  Long zipper from neck to crotch, can zip up or down.
• Contractor & Date:  The tag indicates it was manufactured by the P.Q.M.D. Mfg Division, which stands for Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot Manufacturing Division.  The military specification code (MIL-C-25786) and stock number (8415-576-3407) are consistent with items issued in the late 1950s / early 1960s.
• Condition:  Very Good Condition to Excellent.  No stains, Clean, and No funky smells.  All zippers work nicely.  All snaps work well.  There is one extra button in the sleeve zipped pocket, I don't see any buttons missing.  The plastic clear chest name tag holder is torn.
