Up for sale is a rare piece of mid-century Americana: original vintage 1940s "Sioux City Sue" iron-on transfers. This historic graphic is printed on delicate period-correct tissue paper and features the classic Western-themed "Sioux City Sue" motif. Originally designed for dry-goods and apparel customization of the era, these items allowed the user to transfer the design onto a garment (such as a t-shirt or canvas fabric) by placing it face down and applying heat to the back of the paper with an iron.
