The Buffet Crampon Cooper Scale Model 228 is a silver-plated, nickel-silver student flute designed for beginners and intermediate players.

Key Features

  • Cooper Scale: Uses an intonation scale designed by renowned British flute maker Albert Cooper, which fixes pitch and octave tuning issues by improving tonehole placement and size.
  • Design: Closed-hole (plateau) keys and a 3-piece body, making it easier for younger or newer hands to cover the keys properly.
  • Split E Mechanism: Many 228 models include a Split E mechanism, which splits the G key operation to make the high E note much more stable and easier to speak.
  • Origin: Often manufactured in the United Kingdom by Buffet Crampon, a famous French woodwind maker.

Buffet Crampon concert flute with a silver plated nickel body featuring a closed hole key type.  It comes with a robust hard case for protection and convenience.  This flute is suitable for beginner level musicians and is 26 inches in length.  The elegant silver colour adds a touch of style to the instrument making it a desirable choice for players looking for quality and durability in their flute.
