A cast plaster plaque for the back door, moulded with a long-eared dog and

way — it is not damage, and it is not age.

  It measures 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 x 9/16 inches and weighs 1 lb 5.8 oz. There is real
heft to it for something six inches square, and that weight is how I can tell
you it is cast plaster and not resin.

A moulded keyhole slot in the back takes a single nail, so it hangs flat
against a wall. It will also sit and lean on a shelf.

Now the part most sellers leave out. This is a modern shop-bought piece, not
an antique. It still carried the retail distributor's label on the back when
I found it. The weathered stone finish is very good at suggesting otherwise,
and I would rather tell you than let you find out.

There is a hairline crack on the back, running down from the hanger slot; it
does not show from the front. The edges carry small chips and paint wear. Not
cleaned, not repainted, not repaired, and sold exactly as found — the back is
photographed so you can look for yourself.

Plaster is an indoor material and it will chip if it is dropped, so it is
  packed accordingly.

It comes with a printed provenance card from Cat Soup Art Studio recording
what it is, its condition, and the date it was catalogued. The card states
plainly that the piece was found and catalogued — not restored, not altered,
  nothing added.
