Good condition original pre WWI Imperial German Model 1871 Mauser bayonet that is maker marked “COULAUX & C G KLINGENTHAL” on the left ricasso and dated 1875 on the spine. Unit marked “119.R.15.140.” on the left side of the guard for the 119th (1st Württemberg) Grenadiers "Queen Olga", Company 15, Weapon 140. Blade has original bright finish with some gray and brown patina. Guard is similar. Brass grip has attractive patina and some dings. Lock button and leaf spring function fine. No scabbard. A good example of a German M71 Mauser bayonet with a rare Wurttemberg unit marking.
