Here is a very rare camera which after a lot of research I'm pretty sure was a non advertised camera made by Folmer & Schwing right after WWII using the remainder of their unused stock of Combat Graphic camera parts. The camera is clearly a cheaper model then the well made Combat Graphic but since I have a Combat Graphic I can see that pretty much all the parts on this camera are the exact same ones used for the Combat Graphic. Instead of a olive drab it is painted gray. I do not know if it was made for the Navy or civilian use. I do not see any military markings on it. The name label on the camera is of a type used after WWII. The camera is being sold "as-is" as a collectible only. It is not a usable camera. The shutter needs a CLA as I can get the curtain to move somewhat but it does not fire. The curtain shows wear. The lens is Carl Zeiss Tessar 18cm. I could not get the diaphragm to turn. The back looks like it was replaced at some time as it is black. Still its a very rare camera as I have not seen another even when searching the Internet. Please look at the pictures above. I also have a Combat Graphic camera up in a separate auction so you can look at that if you want to compare the features. Buyer pays shipping and the shipping quote includes insurance.
