This is an authentic, vintage CAMILLUS World War II US M3 combat trench knife complete with its original US M8 scabbard, manufactured by the Beckwith Manufacturing Company (B.M. Co.). As shown on the fourth picture, the handle has a set of initials that may represent the name of its original owner. The knife features a classic stacked handle with distinct grooves, showing an aged patina and honest wear consistent with its historical use. The blued finish on the dual-edged blade remains partially intact, displaying signs of sharpening and field use along the edges, but no major rust or pitting. The crossguard is slightly curved, and the solid metal butt cap is securely pinned, showing a faint ordnance stamp on the end. The olive drab fiberglass scabbard is paired with its original webbed canvas belt hanger, which includes a functional retaining snap closure and an integrated leather leg tie wrapped at the tip. This highly collectible piece of military history is in solid, unmodified surplus condition, making it an excellent addition to any WWII militaria collection. The whole piece measures 13" long.
