The "Mad Master" series of G-SHOCK MASTER OF G is designed for use in hard environments where debris and sediment are piled up and scattered.
Based on GWG-2000, we used the harsh natural environment as a motif and incorporated a cracked pattern into the design.
The bezel is covered with black IP, and cracks are expressed by making full use of etching and laser peeling.
The band is printed on the entire surface and unevenness by hot stamping to create a three-dimensional cracked pattern.
The GWG-2000 retains the dust- and mud-proof structure required for missions in sand and mud, but has been downsized to improve wearing comfort.
The forged carbon bezel and carbon core guard structure of the case make it smaller, while the mud resist button, which combines a stainless steel buttonpipe with a silicone cushioning material, makes it thinner.
The forged carbon bezel is made by kneading finely crushed carbon fiber into resin and heat pressing it with a mold to form it.
Since more intricate shapes can also be carbonized, we were able to reinforce the bezel of the MUDMASTER, which has a complex shape, with carbon.
In terms of functionality, it is equipped with a triple sensor and can acquire direction, barometric pressure, altitude, and temperature information. Large
indexes with Arabic numerals and a characteristic arrow-shaped extra-thick needle are used, and high visibility is ensured by double LED lights and sapphire glass on the windshield.
The band has a texture inspired by the grip and anti-skid of heavy machinery, and the buttons are knurled to enhance operability to create a practical and powerful design.
