An original antique mounted photograph showing a British Royal Navy pre-dreadnought battleship at sea, dating from approximately 1900–1910.
The photograph is presented on its original decorative grey card mount with scalloped edges and the gilt Christmas greeting:
“Wishing you a Happy and Joyous Christmas.”
The reverse carries a handwritten personal dedication which appears to read:
“To Rhoda, With Jack’s best wishes.”
The vessel has the characteristic twin funnels and military masts of a late Victorian or Edwardian pre-dreadnought battleship. Its precise identity has not been confirmed.
