CANADIAN INUIT-STYLE CARVED STONE SCULPTURE-HUNTER IN KAYAK THROWING HARPOON-EXCELLENT CONDITION!

This Canadian Inuit-style stone sculpture depicts a hunter in a kayak throwing a harpoon. The sculpture is 7 inches long and features a wooden harpoon, adding a unique element to the piece. Handmade in Canada, this artwork bears the artists mark and the word "CANADA" inscribed into the stone at the back of the kayak and the left side, making it a valuable collector's item for those interested in Canadian Aboriginal culture. The wooden harpoon fits snugly into the hunter's hand. The hunter's right hand was repaired (see last picture), and the line of the repair is almost undetectable as it looks like just one of the many wrinkles in the hunter's coat. Absolutely does not detract from the beauty of the piece at all. Original gold foil sticker still attached to the bottom (see pictures). The intricate details and cultural significance of this sculpture make it an excellent addition to any collection.
