A SPLENDID EARLY GEORGE III STERLING SILVER SAUCE BOAT.

It measures 12.5cm from handle to spout.  It stands 8cm tall

Weight is 129 grams  - this is a substantial item.

The oval bowl has a  scalloped rim and broad lip. Raised on three scrolled legs with hoof feet. Scrolled and crested handle.. There is a band of attractive chased decoration.

Hallmarked for London , possibly for 1769. The maker's mark is present but unidentified.

In remarkably good, clean and crisp condition without damage.   The silver is free from bumps and bruises. A splendid example of Georgian silverware.

Competitively priced to offer very good value.
