MIPS Integration: Unlike standard sport helmets, the GS Carbon Evo features the Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). This low-friction internal layer allows the helmet to slide slightly relative to the head during an angled impact, significantly reducing harmful rotational forces transmitted to the brain.
Full Carbon Fiber Shell: The outer shell is constructed entirely out of 100% carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). This ensures extreme impact resistance while keeping the overall weight incredibly low to prevent neck fatigue during long days on uneven terrain.
Removable Off-Road Peak: It features a distinct, aerodynamically optimized sun peak shield over the eyes to block glare and flying roost. For high-speed highway commuting, this peak can be easily detached to reduce wind drag.
Ventilation & Dust Filtration: Designed for heavy physical exertion off-road, it features a highly efficient ventilation system across the chin and forehead. Crucially, the chin vent includes a removable, washable dust filter to keep trail dirt out of your mouth.
Goggle Compatible: The double-glazed Pinlock anti-fog visor can be completely removed, allowing you to wear standard off-road MX/Enduro goggles when riding in extremely dusty trail conditions.
