Airmail stamp from the Italian military occupation of Cefalonia and Ithaca (1941), "Mythological" type of Greece, hand-overprinted "ITALIA Occupazione Militare Italiana Isole Cefalonia e Itaca" — Argostoli issue. 10 drachma value, green (Sassone No. 19).
original gum (MNH), excellent centering and and condition. Sottoriva certificate, signed also by Alberto Diena and backstamped Scotto.
This is a genuinely scarce piece — the Sassone catalogue does not even list a price for it due to its extreme rarity.
