The Polish city of Przemysl is called "Saint Claude of Eastern Europe" due to its long history of pipe makers, including the family-run Worobiec pipe shop. Pawel Worobiec began making pipes in 1954, and the tradition continues with his grandson Mateusz. The two make pipes by hand in their small workshop, using lathes but no copy milling. This process makes every pipe slightly different and unique.
This pipe is one of the Worobiec "Standard" series, hand made of the best premium briar, and is one of the best values and new pipes today. It features a Stiliamid stem, a material that is soft to the bite, similar to vulcanite, but it will never oxidize. Includes a box and pipe sock.
