Rare antique cast brass Judaica components featuring the historic Immanuel Benveniste lion and tower printer's device, an emblem associated with the important Hebrew printing tradition of Amsterdam.

The elaborate pierced cast-brass design depicts a rampant lion facing an architectural tower topped by a star, surrounded by decorative roundels and openwork ornamentation.

These pieces appear to be components/backplates from an antique Hanukkah lamp or related Judaica lighting piece. Included are the two matching approximately 7" x 7" cast-brass panels and the associated loose hardware shown in the photographs.

The original candle/oil-light assembly is not present, and the set is therefore being sold as incomplete parts/components, exactly as found and shown.

Estimated date: circa 1880–1910. This dating is based on construction, materials and style and should be considered an estimate rather than a documented production date.

The brass retains a substantial naturally aged patina, oxidation, surface wear and accumulated character consistent with age. It has not been polished or restored. We have intentionally left the piece as found to preserve the original surface.

The Benveniste lion-and-tower device gives these unusual brass components particular interest for collectors of antique Judaica, Jewish ceremonial objects, Hebrew printing history and early brasswork.
