Original vintage hickory stripe industrial work apron, estimated to date from the 1940s–1950s. Please see all photos for measurements and condition. WE SHIP EVERY BUSINESS DAY!!!
Constructed from classic blue and cream hickory stripe cotton workwear fabric with visible selvedge edges. Features a narrow chest/tool pocket with horizontal stripe orientation and reinforced metal grommets at the side flaps.
The grommets are incorporated into the reinforced construction and appear original to the apron. No ties or separate fastening pieces are present.
This apron was recovered along with several matching examples from an old estate. Multiple examples share the same pocket placement, fabric, grommet configuration and construction, suggesting commercially or institutionally produced occupational workwear.
Shows authentic age and workwear patina including staining/marks, oxidation to the metal grommets, loose threads and general wear. No restoration has been performed.
Excellent piece of early American hickory stripe workwear for a vintage denim, industrial workwear or Americana collection.
Pre-owned vintage condition with authentic age and work wear. Scattered stains/marks, loose threads and oxidation/patina to the metal grommets. No ties present. Please review photos closely for complete condition and construction.
