Programme for a charity football game in Ipswich on Sunday 2 May 1971, An Ex-International 11 v. A Showbiz 11. The cover art of the 5.5” by 8.5” twenty-page programme was created by James Giles the cartoonist and features his character Grandma kicking a ball and one slipper into the title. The programme is packed with information including photographs of Sir Alfred Ramsey who would kick off the match and Bobby Robson who captained the team of footballers. Others on that team were Jack Kelsey, Don Howe, Graham Williams, Bill McGarry, Billy Wright, Cyril Lea, Jimmy Hill, Jackie Milburn, Eddie Firmani, Bobby Mitchell and John Charles.  The showbiz team featured Ray Davies and Dave Davies of The Kinks, TV announcer David Hamilton, heavyweight wrestler Tibor Szakacs, singers/actors Tommy Steele, Tony Dalli, Jess Conrad and Anthony Booth, Stan Stennett, and stuntmen Rocky Taylor and Micky Dillon. The programme is in good condition with a very weak central crease.
