Programme for a charity benefit at the Golders Green Hippodrome on Sunday 18 February 1968, the final performance in the old theatre before it became a BBC recording studio.  An amazing roster of stars turned up including “The Status Quo”, as the rock band Status Quo was known from 1967 to 1969. Also on the bill were Alan Freeman, Bud Flanagan, David Jacobs, David Kossoff, Vera Lynn, Joan Regan, Danny La Rue, Alan Haynes, Jimmy Wheeler and many, many others (see below). The thick 7.25” by 9.75” brochure has 52 pages and is in great condition with only a few minor signs of wear and some stamps and annotations on the back cover.
