An original programme from Paris for the third Folies-Bergère revue “Un soir de folie”. Created by Louis Marchand, it was presented in April 1925. Some of the costume designs were by the celebrated designer Erté. Irving Berlin composed the music for two original songs: “Sous les mimosas” and “Un soir en mer”.  The African-French film and stage actor Habib Benglia appeared in the piece. The 13.3 by 21cm programme has twenty pages stuffed with information and photographs including a topless nude of Suzy Beryl which can be glimpsed through a hole cut in the front cover. The programme is quite worn with some short tears and wrinkling to the covers. The back cover has many annotations in pencil and pen. (NB: the nude photograph and a drawn ad have been censored for this auction to comply with eBay rules - in the actual programme the nipples are visible.)
