Up for auction is a beautiful 1950's Mahogany Vintage C.F. Martin & Company 4 string Ukulele. It plays nicely and hasn't been used in over 60 years. Has been stored away in a cedar chest for its protection.
Stamped inside, CF Martin & Co. Nazareth, Pennsylvania
Also stamped at the very top is, CF Martin & Co, Est. 1833
After researching, I believe it to be dated from 1956. It is in very nice excellent condition. The Mahogany wood is very shiny with minimal wear. I am not an expert. Selling as is.
Case is original with some little wear but opens and closes perfectly. Very sturdy and secure. Nice for its age.
Also included is a Wm Kratt Super Pitch Pipe SW-4 Ukulele. Did not originally come with this Ukulele.
