Wonderful, antique, Victorian, burr walnut, lady's dressing box/vanity case
Brass-handled, lift out tray, complete with original cut-glass bottles and jars, as well as 2 mother-of-pearl handled tools
Secret-letter compartment (I have never seen one in such good condition), with a lift-out mirror behind it
Brass corner pieces and cartouche
Unfortunately, the escutcheon is missing
The spoon is not original and dates to the early 20th Century

The inside is in beautiful condition. There are a couple of tools missing and the glass bottle has no stopper. The silver-coloured, metal lids are a little scratched. The frame of the mirror is made from cheaper wood and is probably not original. Outside, there is a missing escutcheon, and a few small knocks and splits to the wood. The wood is a little dry in places and would benefit from a polish. Please examine photos carefully as these are part of the condition description
