Up for auction is a Scarce 1918/7-d Buffalo nickel that has been acid restored on date to bring the date back only weak and all acid treated date coins read stronger near a table light and tilting helps as the coins appearances changes either to weak to stronger. If you enlarge the picture you can see the flat top of the 7 above the 8 and the whole 7 running thru inside the 8.
