US Patent Number 1,550,826 granted to William L. Lange in August 1925 for banjo shell resonators (often used on Paramount and Lange-Craft banjos). It is typically stamped directly onto vintage tone rings or resonator flanges. 

This was a barn find, and it is very dusty when found so it is for Parts or repair
