Leopold Mitsching Flute, Simple System Flute with 12 keys, in the Key of D.
Made in about 1900 and manufactured or supplied by Leo Mitsching in Germany. The pads on the keys are still in good working order and seal as they should, likewise all the key mechanisms.
There is a crack in the head but as it is lined in metal tube it does not effect the playability, it is also missing a metal ferule from the bottom of the head near the tuning slide.
I am sure recorking maybe needed, but I have added a couple of rounds of PTFE tape to ensure airtight joints.
I am not really a flute player and have a poor embouchure but have been able to play all the notes of the low octave and into the second octave, this makes me think it is still very playable. But it is at least 100 years old so some TLC maybe needed.
About 28 1/2" overall length.
