This Welch Allyn VS100 Vision Screener has been tested and is functioning for the basic operations listed below.

Powers on and operates when connected to the AC adapter.

LCD display and touchscreen are responsive.

A binocular vision screening was successfully completed, with measurement results displayed on the screen.

Measurement history can be accessed and reviewed.

Settings menu opens and responds normally.

Please note the following battery-related condition:

The unit requires AC adapter power for operation and does not currently power on from the internal battery alone.

The green charging indicator did not illuminate during testing.

The date and time need to be reset after the unit is powered off. This may be related to the internal backup battery or clock-retention function; the exact cause is unknown.

The unit is usable while connected to AC power. Only the functions described above have been tested. Functions requiring additional accessories, calibration, or professional equipment have not been tested.
