Beschreibung
Zeitgenössische Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografie aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg im Hochformat. Die Aufnahme zeigt die Schiffsführung des Schweren Kreuzers Prinz Eugen beim Rundgang an Deck: Der Kommandant (Kapitän zur See mit Ärmelstreifen und Orden) führt einen hochdekorierten Gastoffizier/General mit Halsorden über das Holzdeck.
Im Bildhintergrund ist die markante schwere 10,5-cm-Flak-Zwillingslafette C/33 der schweren Bordflak mit ihrer Mechanik und Rohrführung detailreich abgebildet.
Rückseitig mit dem originalen Dienst-/Zensurstempel versehen:
„Freigegeben Kdo. Fp. Nr. M 00292“
(Offizielle Freigabe durch das Bordkommando des Kreuzers Prinz Eugen für Presse- und Propagandazwecke).

Description
Contemporary black-and-white photograph from the Second World War in portrait format. The image shows the ship's command of the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen during an inspection on deck: the commanding officer (Kapitän zur See with sleeve stripes and medals) is escorting a highly decorated visiting officer/general wearing a neck order across the wooden deck.
In the background the distinctive heavy 10,5-cm-Flak-Zwillingslafette C/33 of the shipboard heavy anti-aircraft battery is shown in detailed view, including its mechanism and barrel guidance.
Stamped on the reverse with the original service/censorship stamp:
„Freigegeben Kdo. Fp. Nr. M 00292“
(Official release by the ship's command of the cruiser Prinz Eugen for press and propaganda purposes).
