A striking large bamboo rainstick / rainmaker, measuring approximately 100cm (39 inches) long.
Made from a natural bamboo tube with woven/cane-covered ends and extensively hand-painted decoration. The central section features colourful dot work in cream, red and orange against a black background, together with bold black and white motifs.
When slowly turned from end to end, the material inside travels through the tube creating the familiar cascading rain-like sound associated with a rainstick.

Condition
Pre-owned vintage/decorative condition with various marks, scratches and signs of age and use.
There is some wear to the painted decoration and natural variation/marking to the bamboo. The woven/cane end sections also show age and wear. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
The rainstick remains an impressive decorative piece and produces its rain effect when turned.
