Nuns Have No Fun brings together the legendary 1982 Mercyful Fate EP plus 7 rare live tracks recorded at Herlev Gymnasium, Denmark, on October 31st, 1981.
The first four tracks comprise the classic Nuns Have No Fun EP, one of the earliest and most important recordings from Mercyful Fate. Featuring the unmistakable vocals of King Diamond and the twin-guitar attack of Hank Shermann and Michael Denner, these recordings helped establish the band's dark, theatrical and highly influential Heavy Metal sound.
🔥 Rare 1981 Live Material:
The second part of the CD captures Mercyful Fate live in Herlev, Denmark, on Halloween night – October 31st, 1981. These early performances include rare songs alongside embryonic versions of material that would become part of the band's classic repertoire.
