This Pot is made by Koyo, a long time Tokoname based potter.

He's known for great Glazes and this one is no exception.

I have a lot of Koyo pots, please take a look at this one and then the others.

With the passing of Koyo recently, his pots have both risen in price and desirability.

-this pot is a classic koyo build, black slip over white clay and glazed in a cream color. While the stamp is super super faint (seems like a stamp) it’s impossible to read and really hard to see. The real pot heads out there know that that signature is the build and make and glaze of the piece. Despite the almost impossible to read hanko, it’s %100 Koyo and I’ll bet the farm on it.
