Exceptional 1970s true vintage Middle Eastern caftan or long robe in luxurious black velvet, lavishly embellished with intricate gold-toned embroidery, colorful decorative stones/beads, sequins, and dangling faux-pearl accents.

This dramatic statement garment features an elaborate open-front design with a richly decorated standing collar and front borders.
