This 15" tall by 5" wide, at its wider section, classic religious statue depicts Our Lady of Fátima standing on a cloud-shaped base with a golden star accent on the lower robe. The figure features hands clasped in prayer, fine hand-painted facial features, and elegant gold-painted trim outlining the veil and garments. A delicate gold-toned chain necklace with a matching metallic sphere pendant hangs from the neck. This piece serves as a beautiful devotional display for a home altar, mantle, or prayer space. It weights 4 pounds, 11 ounces.
Condition: The statue is in stable, pre-owned condition but displays several visible cosmetic imperfections from age and use. There are notable paint chips, scuffs, and areas of finish loss on the white surface of the veil, back, and lower folds of the robe. A small round hole is present at the very top of the head where a crown or halo ornament would traditionally sit, but missing. The gold trim shows light wear, and the base has paint rubbing, but the facial painting remains crisp and clear. As shown on the last photo, the is a protective felt pad attached to the underside, which has signs of wear.
