Painter, printmaker and lecturer who studied at Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with an MA in Fine Art in 1968.  After graduating he spent 4 years teaching art history in New Zealand at the University of Auckland, before returning to the UK to lecture for the Open University.  A versatile artist who works across watercolour, oil and print, whose artistic journey has evolved from representational works to bold and geometric abstraction, David has had numerous exhibitions in the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand
