One of the most iconic supercars ever made, captured in vintage kit form by one of Japan's most respected model manufacturers. This is the Tokyo Marui 1:24 Lamborghini Countach LP500 Motorised, from their World Champion & Supercar Series — a kit that defined a generation of supercar modelling in the late 1970s and is now firmly in collector territory.
The Kit
- Tokyo Marui 1:24 Identical Super Scale, World Champion & Supercar Series — the original LP500 in striking blue moulding
- Motorised version — designed to accept the FA-130 Mabuchi motor with high and low speed settings (motor sold separately; buyer to source)
- Features opening gull-wing doors, openable rear engine hood, retractable lights, steerable front wheels, lightable head and tail lamps, and super-detailed Michelin VR tyres
- Blue body shell, clear and blue sprues, rubber tyres in original inner tray, wiring loom and metal/other parts bag all present
- Full assembly instruction sheet included
- Kit is unstarted and unbuilt — the body shell was briefly removed for inspection purposes only and replaced. All parts confirmed present and correct. Please study all photos carefully
The Box
- Shows honest age-related wear as expected for a vintage Japanese kit of this era — marks and scuffs to the exterior
- Bold, iconic box art — the side-profile Countach in blue is instantly recognisable
- Inner orange Supercar Series tray and black tyre/parts sub-box both present
The Countach LP500 is the definitive 1970s supercar — the poster car for a generation. Tokyo Marui's motorised version adds a level of interactivity that collectors prize, and UK examples in any reasonable condition are genuinely uncommon; most circulate from Japan. If you collect vintage Japanese kits, 1970s supercar or F1 models, or simply love the Countach, this is a must-see.
