Beautiful Navajo rug purchased in the 1930s in California. I purchased this from a woman whose parents bought it then during a vacation.

Rug has earthy tones of taupe, brown, cream, and red. Diamond pattern.

I am not an expert on vintage Native American items, however, I had an auctioneer tell me that this appears to be circa early 1900s and possibly a child’s rug.

Condition:

Good. A small area where the weaving is loose. One or two spots. See pictures.
