This is an original 1958 advertising contest entry flyer from Folger's Coffee. The double-sided piece features bold yellow, red, and black graphics announcing a giveaway of 600 Big Boy barbecues. The front illustrates the deluxe Barbecue Wagon with a $115.00 retail value and the portable Flipperette grill. The reverse side contains the official contest rules, a deadline schedule for weekly contests ending in May 1958, and an unclipped mailing blank with an illustration of Frank Hemingway. This item is a prime example of mid-century grocery store "take one" marketing and cross-promotional advertising between coffee and grilling culture.

The flyer is in very good vintage condition with sharp corners and vibrant colors. There are no folds, tears, or markings on the entry blank portion. Minor age-related toning is present on the reverse side.
