This very nice HELTON was part of a collection out of Boone Co Missouri. The material is a nicely patinated local chert. It is quite thin and has a great form overall. Helton points are Late Archaic to Early Woodland in age, ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 years old. A fine relic like this one will make a great addition to any authentic collection. It does, as seen in the picture have an ancient tip ding but no modern damage. 

The last picture shows the group as a whole. Keep in mind when buying you will only be getting the point pictured on its own. The entire collection will be pictured in our Web Museum (The Authentic Arrowhead Store) Collection section. These will be pictured here for the foreseeable future in order to preserve the history of the collection.
