One of 2 we collected today, and drove back in convoy, to sunny Lincoln.
Normally id go on about the drive back, 65 miles, and an hour and a quarter, but after 30 odd miles In the Micra I swapped with my wife, and drove the Skoda Octavia back, just to see how both cars drove.....
But after 30 miles I had a good idea, in fact after about 5 mins I had a fair idea....
No knocking or banging from the suspension, good brakes, nice and comfy seats , just everything you'd like to have in a sub grand car., and it drove really well.....
- ELEPHANTS:
So lets address the elephant in the room - the car has done an incredible near 160k miles.
Normally people write this off as too much !
And I get that, however, where will you find a car with a FULL service history with this mileage ?
Not only that its in great condition both inside and out, which is surprising really ...
If you can get past the mileage, and see the car for what it is, cheap, easy to fix, and comes with reliable Nissan engineering, you'll get a great practical bargain car ....
- MECHANICALS:
The car is fitted with the tried and tested , been oil everything Nissan made in this era, 1.4 petrol engine.
Chain driven , so no silly cambelts to change, and its sounds really quiet for the age , see video..
Mated to a nice 5 speed gearbox, the car changes gears with ease, no slipping clutch, grating gears, just nice and easy to drive.
As mentioned there was NO knocking from below, in the suspension, and the car brakes with ease, no squealing .
So all in all a nice drive back, NO unexpected issues ...
- EXTERIOR:
There are 40 odd photos to view, from all angles, please have a look and check out how nice this car looks.
Its hard to believe this car has done nearly 160k miles..
The car is finished in stunning metallic black...
Yes there are marks, some light abrasion marks on the rear passenger wheel arch, some on the rear drivers bumper, and some more on the front passenger bumper.
BUT most have polished in, and black isnt too forgiving.
However, we have newer cars with more damage, and im probably being too harsh on a cheap car .....
- INTERIOR:
Just like the outside, if I covered the speedo, and said it had done half the miles, you'd believe me.
Just have a look at the drivers seat, 160k miles, and NO holes in the bolster !!
The hard wearing black and grey cloth seats really have done well.
If this was a vauxhall, they'd be trashed by 160k miles, yet Nissan seamed to have made a good seat, and they are really comfy..
Just a quick mention, on the rear seats that move forward, to create a bigger boot, or more legroom, very clever !
All the switches seem to work well, carpets are really clean, as is the headlining, and didn't really take much to valet...
- FEATURES:

- Front electric windows, both work, rears are manual,
- Electric mirrors,
- Remote central locking ,
- Radio with cd and an Aux..
And thats it, so less to go wrong...

- TYRES:
The car has good, budget branded tyres on it,
Both front tyres are just over 4mm, and the rears are 5mm.
Spare wheel is in good condition, with jack , triangle and brace....
- RUNNING COSTS:
The car costs 275 pound for 12m tax, or 151.25 for 6 months.
The car does 53mpg on a run, or 36mpg around town,
Insurance is group 12....

About us
We are a husband and wife team.
Having spent 18 years in the motor trade, owning our own business as a car painter and refinisher, time and mainly my back and knees caught up with me !
So now we source and sell cars direct from the trade we used to work with.
All cars are driven a minimum of 40 miles, so we can assess the creeks and groans.
Most cars ( unless listed as spares or repairs) are sold with a minimum of 6 months MOT, but preferably with a fresh 12 months MOT for peace of mind.
Where possible we source full service history cars.
Our stock changes daily, mainly due to the lower margins we charge to create a higher volume.
I do love the Vw group cars,( VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda ) so you will see a lot of those, plus the smaller engine , cheap to tax and insure cars.
