Another fantastic clearance find offered up for auction.       you are bidding on a rather splendid vintage carved wooden duck in very nice shape.     this impressive carving is by JAMES HADDON and its been signed underneath by the artist.       the duck has been really nicely carved and I simply adore the hand painted finish.     the duck is large in size measuring 20" from beak to tail and its a proper heavy lump of hardwood weighing over 3 kilo.     I think it can be dated to the mid 20th century and possibly the 1960's?
I have seen a few other JAMES HADDON carved ducks in my time but never one as large as this bad boy!     it really is an impressive hand painted wood carving and it will certainly turn a few heads when on display in the home.     please see pics for a much better look and do not miss out.
