Up for bid is a Nice Group of Decorative Modern Stone Indian Artifacts, 2 Boatstones & 1 Gorget. In this group is a 5 5/8" Boatstone made from a green and tan Chlorite material. It looks very good and may be authentic, but I'm not sure so I'm selling it as a reproduction. There is a 3 1/2" Boatstone that I'm not sure about. The other artifact is a 2 1/2" Dark Stone gorget. They are well made with different types of material. I'm selling them as modern because I'm not sure of them and they are at least questionable. This is a good group for the volume collector, for display or even used as decoys to fool a robber. It is also a great study group to learn what Modern Artifacts look like compared to authentic ones. I got these out of collections I bought this past year. It is very common to find modern made or questionable artifacts in most collections, so they have to be examined closely. I'll start the bid low with no reserve.
