Frame is 50 cm center to center, 53.5 cm center to top. Classic tube and lug construction with specially shaped tubing-they don't make them like this anymore! The bike is beautiful and super clean with internal wiring for electronic shifting with built in downtube battery compartment and charging port accessed from underneath the bike. Wear on cogs and chainrings is minor, see photos. Top tube measures 54 cm center to center. Color coordination with every part is nicely done as it should be. This is the Colnago C59 Carbon frame, fork, and carbon seatpost, all made in Italy with Ernesto's signature on the top tube. This is a rim brake bike but with many updated features: Electronic shifting, wide rims with tubeless tires, and wide range gearing. Group set is Campagnolo Super Record EPS 11 speed with carbon parts galore. Cogset is 12-29, 11 speed. Carbon Crankset is compact 34/50 with 172.5 mm crankarms. Ritchey WCS Evo Curve Carbon 42 cm handlebars, newly wrapped with Cinelli Cork Ribbon, and WCS 9 cm alloy stem. Campy Electronic Interface lays tidily beneath the stem. Sella Italia SLR Gel Flow Max Italian (of course) saddle. Two aluminum water cages mounted. The wheels are the beautiful and much coveted HED Ardennes SL with Carbon hubs and WIDE rims. 18 spokes on the front wheel, radial laced, and 24 on the back. Super light wheels that ride great! Hutchinson tubeless tires mounted but need sealant. Charger is included, pedals are not included. This beauty came to our Foundation a few years back but the combo of Campy and having to charge batteries meant it was not ideal for our kids and would be better used to sell and raise money for our programs. We had misplaced the charger and unfortunately when we found it and plugged it in, the battery would no longer take a charge. As such, shifting could not be tested or adjusted. Bike is being sold as is, and will need a new battery and possibly a shifting adjustment. For the simple replacement of an EPS battery and the addition of sealant to the tires, you can own a beautiful carbon Italian legend with top of the line componentry for a great price. Used C59 framesets are going from $800 to $1500 and complete bikes from $2000 to $4500. Brake hoods and brake pads are perfect, bars are newly wrapped, and the bike is otherwise begging to be ridden! 100% of all proceeds benefit the Horner Foundation in Bend, Oregon. We are a non-profit organization with 42 junior riders aged 7-14 in our program. We provide coaching, travel, kits, and bikes to all of these riders without any charge to them.
