A Beautiful and Primitive Horse & Rider Earthenware Whistle, it works and makes a lovely sound when blown. I am not sure of the origin, but it looks similar to one displayed at the V&A attributed to the region in Spain of Andujar Andalusia. It however also looks very similar to Cypriot or Greek artifacts, so I cannot accurately determine its origin.
The age is unknown, however assumed to be at least vintage given the build up of ingrained dirt that can be seen. There is a small chip to the top of the horses one ear, but otherwise in good condition with only surface wear and dirt build up.
It measures 10.5cm tall.
