Up for auction is a clear carte de visite circa 1865  depicting  " The Children of The Battlefield " The image is an iconic American Civil War photograph and story featuring Frank, Frederick, and Alice Humiston, the children of Union Sergeant Amos Humiston. Amos Humiston died during the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863 while tightly clutching a photograph of his children"
