💎 Premium Organic Materials & Global Sourcing
• Bronze Mother-of-Pearl (Pteria penguin): Sourced directly from sustainable aquaculture pearl farms off the coast of Sumbawa Island, Indonesia. Also known as the Black-Winged Oyster, this tropical species produces an exceptionally fine-textured, highly lustrous nacre. The shell transitions from a brilliant silvery tone beneath the muscle scar to a rich, warm mauve and golden bronze banding near the outer rim, delivering a rare and penetrating depth of brilliance.
• New Zealand Paua Abalone Shell (Haliotis iris): Sourced from the cold, deep waters off the South Island of New Zealand. The extreme sub-antarctic coastal currents cause the marine nacre to develop an ultra-dense layer, manifesting the world's most vivid rainbow iridescence—characterized by deep metallic teals, electric blues, and flashes of crimson.
• 100% Natural Color Palette: Free from toxic chemical dyes, surface stains, or artificial color enhancements. The mesmerizing shades of green, blue, and bronze are entirely natural, celebrating the raw, organic beauty of the sea.
🔨 Traditional Balinese Craftsmanship
• Hand-Carved One by One: This botanical pair is meticulously shaped, detailed, and polished using ancient traditional techniques by our in-house Balinese master shell carvers.
• A Unique Masterpiece Pair: We completely bypass machine mass production and computerized factory cutting. Because every leaf is fashioned by hand out of separate, organic canvases, subtle variations in exact dimensions, weight, and light-reflecting color patterns will occur—making your pair a completely unique, one-of-a-kind work of wearable art.
• Earth-Conscious Studio: Our workshop operates under a strict zero-waste philosophy. All our raw materials are fully biodegradable, and any minor shell scraps from the carving tables are gently composted directly into our island studio gardens to enrich the soil.
📿 Design Details & Custom Assembly
• Perforation: Features a clean, pre-drilled 1.20 mm hole at the top of each leaf stem, allowing designers to effortlessly add jump rings, custom wire wraps, or hanging hooks to create a finished pair of high-end boutique earrings.
• Creative Versatility: These lightweight, dual-sided components are exceptionally well-suited for luxury resort jewelry, botanical-inspired statements, or statement elements in fine, eco-friendly design collections.

Penguin Winged Oyster – Pteria Penguin
Pteria is a genus of winged oyster closely related to Pinctata that also produces commercial quantities of pearls. Winged oysters are edible but unpalatable and seldom produce precious pearls.
It is a tropical species, with pearly interiors and long, wing-like projections of the hinge, and has fragile shells.
Winged oysters are found naturally on rocks and coral near channels and capes where the current runs fast and they attach themselves to the ocean bottom and to wharf pilings. Pteria Penguin is a major source of Mabe Pearl production.
The Black Winged Oyster, Pteria Penguin that grows up to 20-30 cm in diameter is also called “the penguin wing oyster” from its shape like a wing. They commonly display a silver color under the oyster muscle with a rich mauve, gold banding towards the black/brown outer lip.
The Black Winged Oyster produces brilliant nacre with a rainbow-like spectrum of hues and possesses a uniquely penetrating brilliance, with hues ranging from light pink through deep "rainbow".
Sometimes the pearls have gold or other hues of high rarity. This rich variety of lustrous hues combines with nacreous layers of a rarely seen fineness of texture to give this pearl. The Black Winged Pearl Oyster can be found in the east to the western tropical Pacific and from the southern islands of Japan in the north to the southern waters of Australia and Indonesia.
Paua Abalone shell
:
Paua shell is produced by the New Zealand Abalone (Haliotis iris), the most colorful shell.
The name Paua is the name the Maori call the shell we know as Abalone from the deep waters of the South Island of New Zealand.
These waters are a lot colder being so close to the Antarctic Basin. This is why the colors of Paua Abalone are more vibrant and deeper in color than any other Abalone found in the world.
The lustrous iridescence is a rainbow blue, green and various shades of red.
This Paua Abalone shell is an inspiration from nature’s spectrum of rainbow colors.
