Very good condition original Spanish American War US Model 1892 Krag bayonet that is marked “US” on the left ricasso and dated 1898 on the left ricasso. Blade has nice original bright finish with a little scattered graying. Hilt has original bright finish with a little gray and brown patina. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that is in good condition. Scabbard has plum brown patina with some light pitting and a few dings. Swiveling belt loop works fine. A nice Span-Am Krag bayonet that will make  a fine addition to a collection.
