The GAER adjustable electronic door strike from CDVI is an extremely popular choice for fitters of video entry and access control systems and is often deemed the industry standard.
The Fail-Secure design ensures the lock stays closed when the power is removed. These are usually used in restricted areas that don't have high-volume footfall and need to be kept secure, such as IT r server rooms.
The GAER is non-handed, meaning it can be fitted to either side of the door frame, and the jaw is adjustable by up to 4mm. It also features a built-in MOV (metal oxide varistor) which provides protection against electronic spikes, and can provide a holding force up to 350kg.
